The activities that numb you may seem harmless or pleasurable, numbing yourself so that you don’t have to feel intense emotions and feelings. When you sense that you are engaging in a Disacosociation PDTS or addictive behaviors. Stop and ask yourself why. Examining the feelings that drive you to do this self-destructive behavior Ask yourself what is triggering you. Traumas and suppressed pain will emerge to the forefront of your conscious mind. To heal them you need to engage your subconscious mind. To be able to access and work through the intense emotions, painful memories, and negative beliefs.
