Frequently Asked Questions:

 

Are sessions in person or online?

I provided both, Online video call sessions via Google-meets and One on One in person 

Both produce the same result.

Am I awake during the session?

Yes. RTT/Hypnosis is a sleep of the nervous system. You don’t actually go to sleep. You are fully aware and relaxed into a deeper level of yourself and you are in charge.

Can I get stuck in hypnosis?

No. That’s a myth. You have complete control the entire time. You are talking and dialoguing with me throughout the session.

What does it feel like?

It feels different for different people.  Mostly it is a feeling of deep relaxation and ease.  For some, it’s a sleepy, floating sensation.

Will I remember everything that happens in the session?

Yes, because you will be awake.

While in hypnosis, can you make me do/say something I don't want to?

No, you will remain in full control over your experience and behavior. If I ever suggest something that does not fully resonate, you will be able to voice it even more powerfully because under hypnosis, you have more control, clarity, and power available to you.

What is included in 1:1 

   1:1 Sessions with Ashley of Somatics-Embodied 

  • 1 Deep Dive Session (60 minutes) intake history of the issue 

  • 1 Rapid Transformation Hypnotherapy RTT® Session 2 -3 hours 

  • Personalized recording which recalibrates your mind.

  • Check for 30 min a week after the session, and again in weeks-3.

How should I expect to feel after my session?

It is very normal to feel a range of emotions and feelings after a session. 

Some clients feel more open, and peaceful, or more energized while others feel tired. 

Rapid Transformational Therapy is most importantly about ‘letting go’ of past unhelpful beliefs, behaviors, thoughts or emotions, so you may experience a letting go feeling, such as wanting to sleep a lot, or drink a lot of water, or cry.

Why do I need to listen to my recording for 21 days?

Our brain learns through repetition, nothing is difficult, it is just unfamiliar.

The best thing you can do to install new beliefs, emotions and behaviors is to LISTEN everyday for 21 days, just 3-weeks!

Research shows that new habits take up to 21 days to form so listening for 21 days is vitally important. 

After 21 days you can still listen to your recording as often as you like.

 

How will I know if I’ve changed?

We experience change in 3 different ways: Instantly, Cumulatively, and Retrospectively.

  1. Instantly – the knowledge you experienced during your session about the root cause of your unhelpful thoughts, beliefs, emotions or behaviors will have instantly changed your awareness which means your insight has changed and you can never go back.  You will also have experienced instant change with the realization that your ‘true self’ was originally free from these issues, and so they were never really ‘you’ and you can ‘give them back’ and be free of them.

  2. Cumulatively – new beliefs, thoughts, emotions and patterns of behavior can be built upon step-by-step.  This is where the recording comes in, the less you do the better when listening to the recording because your subconscious mind works best when your conscious mind switches off so listen to your recording when you are as relaxed as possible and doing as little ‘thinking’ as possible, then you will most quickly experience the cumulative changes as they build and build.

  3. Retrospectively – this means the changes you will notice when you look back to how you were before you had your RTT session.  Sometimes changes are easier to notice once some time has passed and you realize that you are thinking, feeling and behaving differently.
