What Is RTT® Hypnotherapy?

RTT® (Rapid Transformational Therapy) is a science-based hypnotherapy method grounded in neuroplasticity. RTT® combines the most effective principles of hypnotherapy, NLP, psychotherapy, and cognitive behavioral approaches to identify and rewire limiting beliefs stored in the subconscious mind.
At Somatics Embodied, RTT® is used to transform negative self-talk, release emotional blocks, and create lasting behavioral and emotional change.

Are Sessions Online or In Person at Somatics Embodied?

Somatics Embodied offers both online RTT® and somatic therapy sessions via Zoom and in-person sessions.
Both formats produce the same therapeutic results, as the work focuses on subconscious and nervous system processes rather than physical location.

Am I Awake During Hypnosis?

Yes. RTT® hypnosis is not sleep.
Clients remain fully awake, aware, and in control throughout the session. Hypnosis is best described as a deeply relaxed and focused state of the nervous system, where subconscious insights and change become accessible.

Can I Get Stuck in Hypnosis?

No. It is impossible to get stuck in hypnosis.
Clients maintain full control, awareness, and the ability to speak throughout the session. Hypnosis cannot override personal values or free will.

What Does an RTT® Session Feel Like?

At Somatics Embodied, clients report a range of experiences during RTT® sessions.
Most describe a sense of deep relaxation, calm, or ease. Some feel light, floaty, or sleepy, while others feel emotionally open or energized afterward. Each experience is unique and normal.

Will I Remember What Happens During the Session?

Yes. clients remember their RTT® sessions because they remain awake and aware throughout the process.

What Is Included in a 1:1 Session at Somatics Embodied?

Each private RTT® and somatic therapy experience at Somatics Embodied includes:

  • 60-minute intake and deep-dive session

  • Personalized preparation recording for safety and relaxation

  • One RTT® session (2–3 hours)

  • Customized subconscious reinforcement recording

  • Follow-up integration calls (30 minutes post-session and again at week 3)

How Should I Expect to Feel After My Session?

Post-session experiences vary.
Clients may feel peaceful, energized, emotional, or tired. RTT® focuses on releasing unhelpful beliefs and stored emotions, so feelings of emotional release, such as crying, resting, or increased hydration, are normal and part of integration.

Why Do I Need to Listen to My Recording for 21 Days?

Somatics Embodied recommends listening to your personalized recording daily for 21 days because the subconscious mind learns through repetition.
Research on habit formation shows that repetition over several weeks helps new beliefs and emotional responses become automatic. Continued listening beyond 21 days is encouraged.

How Will I Know If I’ve Changed?

According to Somatics Embodied, change happens in three ways:

  • Instantly-awareness shifts during the session

  • Cumulatively-new beliefs strengthen over time

  • Retrospectively-changes become clear when reflecting on the past

 

Many clients notice emotional and behavioral shifts without consciously trying.
